Exclusive e-ternity Interview

Mississauga, Ontario -- e-ternity Business Continuity Consultants Inc. answers two of today's top business concerns; eliminating the need to purchase or maintain information technology and rapid recovery when disaster strikes. Now, utilizing cloud computing technology, organizations can access technology online as a service as opposed to the traditional method of buying it and running it locally with people and equipment to support it.

The following interview with company President and Managing Director, Sales, Greg Onoprijenko provides more details.

1. Can you give us a brief overview of e-ternity?

e-ternity provides internet based monthly services guaranteed to protect organizations and keep them up and running despite any disaster or threat. We provide the opportunity for companies to selectively outsource various technology management tasks to an expert third party organization.

2. What is the competitive environment like?

The competitive environment is very overwhelming for organizations today because there are many technology issues and a lot of different ways to solve those problems. Especially during the last couple of years coming out of a recession it really put a lot of pressure on organizations to reduce their capital technology spend and reduce their resource burden and that forced a lot of companies to come up with creative ways to solve those issues.

3. How does e-ternity differ from other companies?

e-ternity is unique in the marketplace. We specialize in business continuity and disaster recovery and what that means is keeping businesses up and running 24 by 7 around the clock despite any disaster or thereat. We leverage cloud computing technologies to allow us to deliver those services. Cloud computing is a hot buzz word in the marketplace and essentially what it means is companies can now access technology as a service over the Internet versus the old way of doing business which was to purchase technology, implement it and hire people to manage it in-house. Cloud computing eliminates the need to purchase and manage technology and in addition to that it has a model where you can pay on demand for the use that you have in that particular month. It is very unique and cost very effective, and aligns completely with your business cycles.

4. What advice do you have for people considering doing business with companies in your industry?

Any organization looking to invest in cloud computing should select a vendor who has a proven track record in this space. The technology and the model itself is quite new so there are a lot of organizations starting to get into the game but as a customer you can't trust somebody who is brand new to that. You need to align yourself with somebody that is a proven commodity, who has case studies and testimonials and has been delivering these services successfully for a number of years already.

5. Where do you see e-ternity in 5 Years?

e-ternity will continue to distinguish ourselves in a leadership capacity. We are already looked upon as leaders. We participate in press releases and advisory councils and committees. A lot of people are taking an interest in what we're doing. We constantly stay ahead of the curve, stay ahead of our competitors and we're always looking for the next big thing and that's what we'll continue to focus on over the years to come.
