e-ternity Wins 2011 MVP in Cloud Services Award for Canada from Ingram Micro
e-ternity Receives its 2nd Partner of the Year Award from Ingram Micro for its Leadership Position in Cloud Computing
Mississauga, Ontario - June 27, 2011 - e-ternity Business Continuity Consultants Inc. a Mississauga, Ontario based organization that provides internet-based services that guarantee business continuance to customers in Canada, today announced that it has been named MVP for Cloud Services in Canada by Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest technology distributor and leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company. The award recognizes e-ternity for its success and leadership in providing monthly managed cloud computing services in Canada to a wide range of clients. e-ternity proudly accepted the award this month at the 2011 Cloud Summit in Phoenix, Arizona hosted by Ingram Micro. The event was a premier channel focused cloud computing event with industry leaders, cloud innovators, and more than 500 participants in attendance from around North America.
“Congratulations to e-ternity, Ingram Micro’s MVP Canada,” began Renée Bergeron, Vice President of Managed Services and Cloud Computing, Ingram Micro North America. “e-ternity is an industry leading MSP that understands how to leverage the power of partnership and the Ingram Micro Cloud to grow their business year-over-year.”
e-ternity and Ingram Micro formed a strategic alliance in 2004, and further strengthened this relationship in 2007 when e-ternity began working with the Ingram Micro Services Division and selling its managed services offerings. In 2009, Greg Onoprijenko, e-ternity’s President and Managing Director of Sales, was appointed to the Ingram Micro Services Advisory Council (SAC). Ingram Micro strives to leverage the SAC to gain greater insight on service market trends, as well as the needs of its solution provider client base, and ultimately deliver quality services and capabilities to help those solution providers grow profitably and be more successful.
“We appreciate the hard work Greg puts into his role within the Ingram Micro Services Advisory Council,” said Jason Bystrak, Sales Director, Ingram Micro Services Division. “e-ternity is a great MSP and we are honored to have Greg’s insights as we continue to bring to market channel-centric managed and cloud services for our partners across Canada and the rest of North America.”
Onoprijenko was proud to receive the award at the conference in front of a large group of fellow service providers from across North America. “We are honored to be recognized by such an industry leader,” began Onoprijenko. “The support and knowledge we gain from Ingram Micro has helped grow our business in the cloud computing space.”
e-ternity has been successfully delivering cloud services through its e-ternity SkyCentre program since 2007. Guy Netaneli, e-ternity’s Managing Director of Services, reflected on the organization’s growth since the early days. “We received our first Ingram Micro award at the annual conference in Dallas in 2009 for being the Rookie of the Year for the Ingram Seismic Managed Services Program,”commented Netaneli. “With this 2011 MVP award, I realize how far we’ve come in two short years.”
