e-ternity Shows Strong Growth in 2009 Despite Recession

e-ternity SkyCentre Cloud Computing Services Growth Among Many Highlights From 2009

Mississauga, Ontario-February 11, 2010

e-ternity Business Continuity Consultants Inc. a Mississauga, Ontario based organization that provides cloud computing services that guarantee business continuance to customers in Canada, showed strong results in 2009, including unprecedented growth in its monthly managed services business.

For the twelve months ending December 31, 2009, e-ternity more than doubled its monthly cloud computing services annual revenue with 124% growth, grew annual gross profit by 7%, and increased its monthly recurring revenue by 107%. e-ternity's SkyCentre cloud computing services business now represents over 30% of total company revenue vs 11% one year ago.

"2009 brought us amazing growth in our monthly cloud services business,"began Greg Onoprijenko, e-ternity's Managing Director of Business Strategy."The monthly recurring revenue foundation we laid in 2008 before the recession was critical to our success."

Onoprijenko continued."While product vendors in the technology sector suffered significant declines in revenue due to the recession, those organizations such as e-ternity that were visionary enough to develop and implement a recurring monthly revenue model prior to the onset of the recession were best insulated from the turmoil that 2009 represented."

"Although our total revenue was relatively flat compared to 2008, the fact that our monthly recurring cloud services revenue more than doubled in 2009 is evidence that our decision to enter this space in 2007 was strategically the absolute right direction for our organization at that time,"said Michael Aaron, Managing Director of Sales for e-ternity.

Guy Netaneli, e-ternity's Managing Director of Services, commented on e-ternity's maturation as a Cloud Services Provider in 2009."e-ternity made tremendous strides as a services organization last year as we ironed out many inefficiencies and made significant process improvements across the board."

According to Wikipedia, the term Cloud Computing refers to"a paradigm of computing which dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources are provided as a service over the internet, or 'cloud'. The term 'cloud' is used as a metaphor for the internet based on how the internet is depicted in computer network diagrams."Research organization IDC predicts that"...by 2012, customer spending on IT cloud services will grow almost threefold to $42 billion."
